Steve

We recently hosted our first staff ‘Get Together’; celebrating the values that hold our teams together and recognising the fantastic work our staff do every day to make Oldham a better place for all our residents. As part of the agenda, we were looking for a local inspirational speaker to share motivational messages our staff could take away and reflect on. Steve was an obvious choice for us – a proud Oldhamer who is revered across the borough and beyond for the remarkable challenges he partakes in alongside his day job as a teacher.

Steve’s attitude to pushing the boundaries of expectations and aiming high was truly inspiring and felt across the room. His stories of determination against adversity had the audience gripped and Steve generously took time to speak to many of our staff following his talk who wanted to hear more about his fantastic achievements.

Thank you for kindly giving your time to join us, Steve and for being a leading inspirational figure for Oldham. We look forward to welcoming you back and hearing about more of your adventures soon.
